Demetrius Antonio Battie (born February 11, 1976 in Dallas, Texas, United States) is an American basketball player who is currently retired. His last team was the Philadelphia 76ers of the NBA and he played 14 seasons in the NBA.

After his career at Texas Tech University, Battie was chosen fifth in the 1997 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets. He has played for the Nuggets, the Boston Celtics, the Cleveland Cavaliers and currently does for the Orlando Magic, averaging 6.5 points 5.7 rebounds per game.

On June 25, 2009 he was traded along with Rafer Alston and Courtney Lee to New Jersey Nets in exchange for Vince Carter.
