Thomas Paul ‘Tompall’ Glaser (September 3, 1933 – August 13, 2013) was an American country music artist. Born in Spalding, Nebraska in 1933. Active in the world of music since 1950, he recorded as a soloist and with his brothers Chuck and Jim in the trio Tompall & amp; The Glaser Brothers The solo single of Tompall Glaser with the highest reception, was “Put Another Log on the Fire” by Shel Silverstein, which reached No. 21 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles list (now Hot Country Songs) in 1975 and appeared with Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Jessi Colter on the album Wanted! The Outlaws. The Glaser brothers also had backup singers like Marty Robbins in the 1950s. Glaser died on August 13, 2013 in Nashville, Tennessee, after a long illness.
