Teresa Graves’s Biography

He began his artistic career as a singer of the group Doodletown Pipers. He later moved on to the world of acting, with appearances on the television series Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In (1969-1970).

He participated in cast roles in some films in the seventies: Black Eye (1974), That Man Bolt (1973), and Vampira (1974), with David Niven.

Its moment of maximum popularity arrives when it interprets the paper protagonist in the police series Get Christie Love (1974-1975) – In her, Teresa Graves interpreted the first paper protagonist of a African-American woman to the service of the police department of a great city.

In 1983 he abandoned his artistic career to focus on his religious vocation as a member of the Jehovah’s Witness community.

He died tragically in the fire at his home at the age of 54.
