Kasseem Dean (Bronx, September 13, 1978) is a music producer, DJ & amp; American rapper known as Swizz Beatz (sometimes stylized as “Beats”) has been producing songs for Ruff Ryders since he was 17 years old. Swizz also has his own record label called Full Surface , which is a subsidiary of J. Records.

Due to the separation of his parents in his early years, Dean did not see his father, a postal clerk. He spent much of his childhood raised by his mother in the South Bronx, where he first encountered hip hop. After obtaining the necessary equipment from his stepfather and his uncles, he started working as a teenager and even enjoyed a minimum of success. After moving to Atlanta, Georgia, and because of his repeated involvement in violent behavior at Harry S. Truman High School, he began working for his uncles, Joaquín and Darrin Dean, who were fellow executive directors of the Ruff Ryders label.
With his aunt Chivon and uncles Dee and Waah Dean all involved with the Ruff Ryders label, he started producing tracks at the age of 16. A year later he sold his first hit to DMX, “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem.” Then, he produced great hip-hop songs on how, in 1998, as “Banned from T.V.” from Noreaga, “Money, Cash, Hoes” by Jay-Z and more, all of these had been produced at the age of 19. The following year, most of the songs on the compilation album Ruff Ryders Ryde or Die Volume 1 were produced and it also produces Eve. In 2001, in a joint operation with Clive Davis, he established his own record label, Full Surface , which is a subsidiary of J Records The first signed artist was Philadelphia rapper, Cassidy. When Dean released his first compilation album Swizz Beatz Presents G.H.E.T.T.O. Stories, in 2002, it was then that he began to attract attention for his production style and interesting ideas. The same year, he released two singles “Guilty” and “Bigger Business”, accompanied by music videos, often associated with Ruff Ryders and Roc-A-Fella Records. Dean began to expand its reach to include the production of artists from the most dominant producers such as Elektra, Atlántic, Epic, Def Jam and Bad Boy Entertainment. His career grew largely from that point.
On August 21, 2007, Swizz Beatz released his debut album, One Man Band Man. The album was preceded by the singles “It’s Me Bitches” and “Money in the Bank” and sold 45,000 copies in its first week. Two months later, on October 19, a contest called “Share the Studio” was launched, presented by Music Video 2.0 and The Source magazine. The contest was intended to be a continuation of the work of his debut album.
Later that year, Swizz Beatz brought his former producer Ruff Ryders and lifelong friends Drag-On, and Eve, the hip hop group, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, as well. they signed with the production company, where they later released their seventh studio album Strength & amp; Loyalty.

On August 23, 2013, he released “Hands Up,” a new single with American rappers Lil ‘Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Rick Ross, and 2 Chainz. His album Haute Living is still without a release date , despite the fact that the list of songs has been ready since 2011.
