Simone was born in a mining town, in Australia; daughter of Anette and Ian. He is older than his two brothers, Kym (sister) and Robbie (brother), his nicknames are Monie Mack and Simmo. One of his passions is riding.
Simmone left for seven years with actor Jason Momoa, whom he met on the Baywatch set, the couple got engaged in Hawaii in June 2004, but ended in late 2006.
She later started a relationship with pilot Dominic James and later gave birth to her first child, Madigan James McKinnon on March 19, 2010.
She is a very good friend of the actresses Michala Banas, Rachael Carpani and Alexandra Davies, with whom she worked in the series Mcleod’s Daughters.
