Scott David Mechlowicz , better known as Scott Mechlowicz (New York, January 17, 1981), is an American actor. His career began in 2003 and until now he is best known for his roles in Mean Creek, Eurotrip, Peaceful Warrior and Gone.
Mechlowicz grew up in a Jewish family, his mother is a respiratory therapist, Scott grew up in Texas. He graduated from the Plan High School in 1999 and studied at the University of Texas at Austin for a semester. Mechlowicz subsequently moved to Los Angeles, California, where he studied at UCLA and graduated in 2003 with honors in the Conservatory Acting Program.
After appearing in Neverland in 2003, Mechlowicz made his feature film debut in the teenage comedy, Eurotrip – Passport to Confusion, which premiered in February 2004 and received both positive and negative reviews. independent film Mean Creek, which was filmed in 2003, and received a limited theater release until August 2004. In the film, a dark drama about a teenager, Mechlowicz played “Marty,” the eldest of a group of teenagers.
