Rory Cochrane (February 28, 1972) is an American actor. He is best known for his film roles as Ron Slater on Dazed and Confused and Lucas on Empire Records, and his television role as Tim Speedle on CSI: Miami.
Rory Cochrane’s Biography
Cochrane was born in Syracuse (New York). He is the third son of Brendan and Siobhan). He spent his childhood in Grantchester (England). He then returned to the United States and was educated in New York and enrolled in the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & amp; Art and Performing Arts. His first roles included a participation in a drug docudrama on Saturday Night with Connie Chung in 1989 and an appearance in an episode of H.E.L.P. in 1990.
He made his film debut (a fifteen-second screen appearance) in A Kiss Before Dying, followed by his first role as Jeff Goldblum’s son in Fathers & amp; Sons. Cochrane got more important roles in the films Empire Records and Dazed and Confused, appearing also in Hart’s War, starring Bruce Willis in 2002. He also starred in Richard Linklater’s film, A Scanner Darkly, in 2006.
He was one of the protagonists of the first two seasons of the television series, CSI: Miami, recovering his role as Tim Speedle, as a hallucination of Detective Eric Delko, in the episode “Bang, Bang, Your Debt”, of the sixth season. He has indicated that he will make another appearance in the series before the end of that season.
