Robert Bruce Zoellick (pronounciado /ˈzʌlɪk/; nacido el 25 de julio de 1953) es un banquero estadounidense, que fue el undécimo presidente del Banco Mundial, posición que mantuvo entre el 1 de julio del 2007 y el 30 de junio del 2012.​ Fue previamente director administrativo de Goldman Sachs,​ sub-secretario de estado de Estados Unidos, cargo al que renunció el 7 de julio de 2006.

Zoellick was born in 1953 in the city of Naperville, Illinois state of the United States. Son of Gladys and William T. Zoellick, a German-American family, graduated in 1971 from Naperville Central High School. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa in 1975 from Swarthmore College as a History Specialist; he received his J.D. of the Harvard Law School and in 1981 a master’s degree in public policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University In 1992, he received the Knight’s Cross Commander of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany for his eminent achievements in the process of German reunification.

In 2002, Zoellick was recognized as an Honorary Doctor of Letters by Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Indiana. US President George W. Bush nominated Zoellick to be president of the World Bank on May 30, 2007, replacing Paul Wolfowitz involved in a nepotism scandal, formally resigning on June 30.
