Rick Barry Short Bio

Richard (Rick) Francis Dennis Barry III (Elizabeth, New Jersey, March 28, 1944) was an American basketball player, who excelled in the 70s. He is considered one of the best “smalls forwards” in history.

He played as a professional in both the NBA and the ABA, and is the only player in history who has led in one season the highest scoring in both leagues, as well as in the NCAA University League.

His four sons, Brent, Scooter, Jon and Drew, were also basketball players.
