Reel 2 Real is a New York duo of house music influenced by reggae, formed by the American producer and DJ Erick Morillo and the trinitarian Mark Quashie / b>, better known by his stage name The | Mad Stuntman .
The first release as Reel 2 Real was The New Anthem that was one week in # 1 in 1992. In the 1990s, it had seven hits in the Top 10 on the Hot Dance Music / Club Play charts.
Although it peaked at number 8 in the nightclubs, Reel 2 Real is best known for the dancehall-reggae song with house influence I like to move it , featuring the trinitario and toaster Mark Quashie, also known as The Mad Stuntman. The song peaked at 89 of the Billboard Hot 100 in 1994. In the UK it peaked at 5 of the singles charts, and in France and the Netherlands it reached No. 1.
