The Governor whose real names are Brian Blake (in the comics) Philip Blake (in the TV series) is a fictional character from The Walking’s comic series Dead, and is played by David Morrissey in the television series of the same name. This character is created by Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard in art and Cliff Rathburn, the character made his debut in The Walking Dead in issue # 27 in April 2006. Its dark nature intensifies when it comes into conflict with Rick Grimes as he longs to appropriate the prison in which the police and his group are staying, and this together with his militia are willing to eliminate them, leaving several dead characters in both Rick’s group and in his own militia and people. In the television series she maintains a loving relationship with Andrea, but finally kills her when she discovers her true personality and decides to leave with Rick’s group and get away from Woodbury.
