He released an album on his solo project The Threshold HouseBoys Choir.
Prior to his musical career, Peter Christopherson served as a publicist, designer and photographer. He was one of the three partners of the album cover design company Hipgnosis, authors of many covers known in the 70s. Christopherson continued to be associated with advertising during his musical career as a director of video clips and television commercials.
Born in Leeds, (England), Christopherson was one of the founding members of Throbbing Gristle (hereinafter TG), considered the creators of the industrial musical genre, until its split in 1981.

Reissued Musick To Play In The Dark Vol. 1 and Musick To Play In The Dark Vol. 2.
Despite his long career as a musician, he only published two songs under his own name. The first, In My Head A Crystal Sphere Of Heavy Fluid appeared on the charity album Foxtrot, raising money for the rehabilitation of alcoholism by John Balance, and All Possible Numbers, eleven years later in Autumn Blood (Constructions).
