Panic At The Disco Short Bio

Panic! at the disco is an American rock group formed in Las Vegas in 2004 by Ryan Ross and Spencer Smith. After several changes in its formation, from 2015 it is integrated solely by the singer Brendon Urie, to whom in the tours they accompany Dallon Weekes in low and choirs, Kenneth Harris in guitar and Dan Pawlovich in battery. The band recorded their first demos while their members were still in high school and, in 2005, they released their first studio album, A Fever You Can not Sweat Out. Encouraged by the single “I Write Sins, Not Tragedies,” the record was finally double platinum certified in the United States. In 2006 Brent Wilson was fired and Jon Walker replaced him as a bassist.

Influenced by groups of the 1960s like The Beatles, The Zombies and The Beach Boys, and preceded by the single “Nine in the Afternoon”, the band published Pretty.Odd. in March of 2008. His second album made a significant difference in his sound with respect to the first one and his members described him as «more organic and softer» than A Fever You Can not Sweat Out. After its publication, Ross and Walker retired from the group to pursue their own careers, so to Panic! at the Disco was left with only two members, Urie and Smith. As a duo, they released the single “New Perspective”, and hired Dallon Weekes (bass) and Dan Crawford (guitar) to accompany the band during live performances.

Panic! at the Disco released their third studio album, Vices & amp; Virtues, in 2011, which was recorded only by Urie and Smith along with producers John Feldmann and Butch Walker. In 2013 Dallon Weekes became an official member and the group released their fourth album, Too Weird to Live, Too Rare to Die !. In 2015, after the departure of Smith for his addiction to alcohol, Urie began recording the fifth album as the main voice and multiinstrumentista. The last album, Death of a Bachelor, was published on January 15, 2016.
