Pablo Chiapella Cámara (Albacete, December 1, 1976), nicknamed Chape , is a Spanish actor. He is known mainly for roles such as that of Amador Rivas in the television series La que se avecina or Moncho Heredia in Aquí no hay vivir.

Pablo Chiapella’s Biography

From Ayaorean parents, Pablo Chiapella was born in Albacete (Castilla-La Mancha) in 1976. In 1998 he graduated in Teaching specializing in Physical Education at the Faculty of Education of Albacete. After that, he decided to devote his life to the artistic world, which led him to graduate in Dramatic Art. He was introduced to the world of acting thanks to Ernesto Sevilla, his friend, who asked him to do an interview for Paramount Comedy, he has Italian ancestry from his father’s family.

Since 2000, Pablo Chiapella has been an actor with the cable channel Paramount Comedy. Thus, he has been seen in programs such as La hora chanante, as a presenter and actor of monologues in the spaces of Paramount, such as the protagonist of “El capitán Sevilla y el Centurión Chape”, etc. In 2004 he expanded his television radio to participation in series such as Lobos (Antena 3, 2004) and Hospital Central (Telecinco); the series of the TVE To the edge of the law, where it interpreted a lawyer and Out of control, also of the TVE, in which it interpreted to the journalist “Retu”. He also played the Tenorio of El burlador de Sevilla, directed by José Luis Sáez, or collaborated on productions by Jaroslaw Bielski as Nuestra cocina.

Belongs to the so-called “Cuarteto de Albacete”, a group of humorists formed by himself, Joaquín Reyes, Ernesto Sevilla and Raúl Cimas.

In 2018, it will present the national adaptation of the TV3 program, El Forastero, approved last July of July by the Board of Directors of RTVE.
