NASCAR refers to the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (“National Association of Series Car Racing”) and, currently, represents the most commercial and popular automobile category in the United States, and the most important stock car competition (“series cars”) in the world. He is a member of the Automobile Competition Committee for the United States. It is considered the most important category of American motorsport.
The brands that currently compete are: Ford with the Ford Fusion in the NASCAR Cup, and with the Ford Mustang in the Xfinity Series; Chevrolet with the Chevrolet SS in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and in the Xfinity Series with the Chevrolet Camaro; Toyota with the Toyota Camry in both. It should be noted that Pontiac and Dodge also used to participate in the competition, however, they abandoned after recording unfavorable results.
The particularity of these competitions is based, mainly, on that they usually run on oval circuits and are always series cars, that is, cars whose basic design is that of a car left from the factory.
