Myles Munroe , OBE, (April 20, 1954 – November 9, 2014) was a renowned motivational speaker and Pentecostal Evangelical Christian minister from the Bahamas, who founded and directed the Bahamas Faith Ministries International (IAMC) and Myles Munroe International (MMI).
He wrote numerous books and his main message always developed around “another kingdom” (spiritual) and how, based on the Bible, to develop the potential of man. Covering issues such as leadership, family relationships and finances.
In addition, he was the executive director and president of the council of leaders of the International Association of Third World Leaders and president of the International Leadership Training Institute.

Myles Munroe Egbert was born on April 20, 1954 in Nassau, Bahamas. Raised in the Bain Town neighborhood of the Bahamian capital, Myles grew up in poverty in a family of eleven brothers. He converted to Christianity during his adolescence, after attending Roberts Oral University (ORU), where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts, Education and Theology in 1978 and the Master of Management degree from the University of Tulsa in 1980. Munroe was He was also the recipient of honorary doctorates from several high-school houses and served as an adjunct professor at the Graduate School of Theology at ORU.
