Matt Ryan (also known as Matthew Evans , Swansea, Wales, April 11, 1981) is a Welsh actor.

Matt Ryan’s Biography

Matt was born in Swansea, Wales. He is the son of Steve Evans, a postman turned record producer, and Maria Evans, a dance teacher. He attended Penyrheol Elementary and High School and Gorseinon University, where he completed a BTEC Performing Arts course and appeared in the production of Les Misérables in the role of Gavroche. He graduated from Bristol Old Vic in 2003 and joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 2004.

Career

Ryan debuted in 2001, when he participated in an episode of Nuts and Bolts; Other television credits are: Mine All Mine, The Tudors, Holby Blue and Torchwood. Among his film credits are: Layer Cake, Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day and Flypaper.

In 2010 he was chosen to play Mick Rawson in Criminal Minds, where he participated in a pilot planted for the series derived Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, which he co-starred in 2011. In 2013 he made the capture of voice and movement of Edward Kenway, character of the video game Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.

On February 21, 2014 it was announced that Ryan was selected to play John Constantine in Constantine, series based on the comic book Hellblazer, published by DC Comics, however it was canceled after the first season.

On August 11, 2015, it was announced that Ryan would resume the character of Constantine during the fourth season of Arrow.
