Manuel Roxas’s Biography
He was born on January 1, 1892 in the city of Capiz, today renamed Roxas, in his honor. His parents were Gerardo Roxas and Rosario Acuña. Manuel Roxas finished his secondary studies at the Manila High School in 1909 and obtained his law degree from the University of the Philippines in 1913. In 1921 he married Trinidad de Leon, with whom he had two children: Ruby R. Roxas and Gerardo Roxas, who arrived at the Senate of the Republic.
