Lucie Joanne Silverman (Kingston upon Thames, United Kingdom, September 4, 1977), better known as Lucie Silvas , is a British singer-songwriter.

Daughter of a New Zealander father and Scottish mother lived always surrounded by the family musical environment. He has two sisters, Mia and Nikki. His father is a music lover and his mother Isobel was an opera singer. Lucie grew up in New Zealand and began her piano studies at the age of five, composing her first love song at the age of ten. In the institute he began to study music and one of his classmates suggested he introduce his stepmother, Judie Tzuke, whom he would later accompany as a chorister on his tours. He stopped studying at age 16, but soon met Gary Barlow, who had been a member of Take That. In a short time she was surrounded by people who encouraged her to record an album with songs composed by her for piano and voice, such as producer Mike Peden and of course, Judie Tzuke.

He wrote songs for Sarah Whatmore, Gareth Gates, Rachel Stevens or Liberty X. He consolidated himself as a solo singer with “What You’re Made Of” from “Breathe In”, 2003 his first album and with which he got the first successes in much of Europe.

In 2006 he released his second album, “The Same Side”, produced by the producer of Coldplay X & Y, also reaching the top positions in countries like Germany, Ireland and the United Kingdom.

In 2015, he married John Osborne, a member of the American country music duo Brothers Osborne.
