Liam James Payne (August 29, 1993, Wolverhampton, United Kingdom) is a British singer, songwriter and guitarist, currently a member of the One Direction boy band, after auditioning for The X Factor. and being accepted, Judge Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Liam be part of a group called One Direction along with Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson. The creation of the group became a reality and the five were sponsored by Simon Cowell. They reached the final of the program and were in third place. Although they did not win, Cowell paid a contract for them to sign with the Syco record label.

At first, Liam did not aspire to be a singer, but an Olympic runner.
