Josh Holloway (San Jose, California, July 20, 1969) is an American actor, famous for having played James Ford in the Lost series and Gabriel Vaughn in the Intelligence series and also Will Bowman in the science fiction series Colony.

He was born in California (United States), but at the age of three he moved with his family to Cordillera Azul, Georgia, where he grew up with his three brothers, one older than him and two children. His passion for cinema appeared at a very young age. After a year of studies at the University of Georgia, Josh decided to leave books to pursue a career as a model, which would take him to different places in European and American geography.
