How much is John Otto worth? – Wondering how wealthy & rich is John Otto? Or maybe you’re just curious about John Otto’s age, body measurements, height, weight, hair color, eye color, bra & waist size, bio, wiki, wealth and salary?
John Everett Otto was born on March 22, 1977 in Jacksonville, Florida. He is known to be the original Limp Bizkit drummer.
Otto studied jazz in Edmonton, Alberta, and played in local Edmonton bands before joining Limp Bizkit, a group founded by Fred Durst and Otto’s cousin, Sam Rivers. What began as a small band from Jacksonville, Florida, ended up being one of the most popular nu metal bands in the world, selling more than 45 million records worldwide.
After a successful career, in November 2004, rumors began to emerge about John leaving the group. This follows from the fact that on the official website of Limp Bizkit there was time without including official images of Otto. Even some rumors said that John Otto had become a Benedictine monk. These rumors were corroborated by Fred Durst himself in an entry on his official website entitled People are Dumb. Fred did not address the issue directly; he chose to give subliminal “clues” that John was still in the group. Later images of John Otto filled the Limp Bizkit website, ruining the rumors. Apparently all that happened was that he decided to return to Edmonton for a while.
John wrote and recorded the drums for all the songs in The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1), but, before he did, the producers and the rest of the band members recorded with Sammy Siegler without John’s knowledge. Finally, the rest of the members and producers decided which battery had to be in the final recording. John did not want his work to be confused with that of Sammy Siegler, who he thinks is a good punk drummer. According to John, Sammy did not achieve the stylistic groove that is unique to his (John’s) sound and style, which is the backbone of Limp Bizkit.
Otto lived in Marina del Rey, California, and was teaching drums for Star Education, but currently lives in Edmonton, Alberta. Since 2009, he has been playing with Limp Bizkit with his world tour back with the rest of the band’s original members, and he also performed the drums of Limp Bizkit’s last album, Gold Cobra.
Recently, John has shown the fans his interest in rap. With the alias of ‘Johnny Ottomatic’, he showed several songs on his MySpace, along with his rap group known as Sun Zoo, with rapper L.A. Jay. John says he has no intention of this getting in the way of Limp Bizkit. It also appears on the album Liar & amp; to Thief de Diabolic, published in 2010.
On October 1, 2010, John stated that he is working on a solo album and posted a demo of his first song, “Apocalypse”, on his MySpace. Later, Otto revealed that his new project would be in the form of a new group known as Stereo Chemix with Ceekay, DJ Apokalypze, Fin and Norm and manager Martin Simler, AKA “Pureform”. The group recently published its first video clip on the web.
Otto also collaborated with Cold’s Scooter Ward on recording his group’s debut album, The Killer and the Star. He is currently working with his band, Limp Bizkit, on the seventh studio album titled Stampede of the Disco Elephants.
