The date, James Patterson has had nineteen consecutive numbers 1 in the ranking of the best-selling novels according to the New York Times and holds the author record that has sold more fiction titles (56 in total), which is also Guinness World Record. One of his novels always appears as one of the seventeen best-selling novels in the United States and in recent years he sells more than Stephen King, John Grisham and Dan Brown together.
