Irving Jahir Saladino Aranda (City of Colon, January 23, 1983) is a former Panamanian Olympic athlete who specializes in long jump. Winner of the gold medal at the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008. He is the second Panamanian to win an Olympic medal, sixty years after he did Lloyd LaBeach at the Olympic Games in London 1948 won two bronze medals in the 100 and 200 meters respectively. Irving Saladino’s Biography
He was born in a humble neighborhood in the province of Colon; He started as an electrician to live, although his dream was always to enter the Hall of Fame of Panamanian sport.
