Inva Mula was born in the city of Tirana, (Albania), daughter of the well-known Albanian singer and composer Avni Mula, who from her birth was a remarkable inspiration for her artistic training. Wrapped in the artistic world that her father professed, Inva began to sing from the age of three.
She was a showgirl at the Paris Opera before embarking on a solo career.
In 1987 she won the “La Sintante de Albania” contest in Tirana, a year later in 1988 the George Enescu prize in Bucharest. In 1992 he won the “Butterfly” award in Barcelona.
He received an award in the first Operalia contest, founded by the tenor Plácido Domingo, in the city of Paris, in 1993. Due to his success, numerous copies of the contest have been sold on CD.
He sang a series of concerts together with the famous tenor at the Opéra Bastille, and in Brussels for “Europalia Mexico”, in Munich and in Oslo.
His interpretations of Mimi in La Boheme and Gilda in Rigoletto were edited on DVD.
Her ex-husband, Pirro Çako, is a singer and composer.
His participation in the feature film El Quinto Elemento stands out, where he is the voice of the famous Plava Laguna, singing Il Dulce Suono from Donizetti’s opera, Lucia di Lammermoor; at the end of this song you can hear an amazing Techno-inspired recording where large jumps are noted that were not edited but sung by Inva Mula, and placed as a soundtrack.
