Also in 1995, Chalayan worked with the avant-garde singer Björk. The famous white jacket that she wears on the cover of her Post album was designed by him. Chalayan also contributed to Post’s musical tour, lending several of his creations for Björk to use during the shows. For her part, the singer modeled at the Chalayan fashion show during London Fashion Week.
In 1998, while still designing his famous collection, he was hired by the New York company TSE as design consultant, a position he held until 2001.
