Henry Hazlitt (November 28, 1894 – July 8, 1993) was an American liberal philosopher and economist, and a journalist with The Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, Newsweek, and The American Mercury, among other publications. Hazlitt is credited with bringing the Austrian School of Economics to English-speaking audiences.
Hazlitt wrote more than 20 books throughout his life, being the best known “Economics in One Lesson” (“The economy in a lesson”). Also they emphasize “The Foundations of Morality”, his fundamental work on ethics, and “The Failure of the New Economics”, a detailed criticism chapter by chapter of the “General Theory” of John Maynard Keynes.
