Heather Myles (Riverside, California, July 31, 1962) is an American country music singer. He plays a honky tonk style characteristic of the Bakersfield sound and has been compared to Dwight Yoakam.
Myles was born in Riverside, California, where his parents were dedicated to the breeding and training of horses for racing. Heather worked in the family business before working professionally in music. While still a teenager, he joined a band and barely a year got his first record contract with HighTone Records.
He released his debut album Just Like Old Times in 1992 with a lot of original material along with versions of songs by Jim Lauderdale and Robert Cray. The album was received with praise by the press specializing in country due to its strong lyrics and the powerful honky-tonk sound.
In 1998 he released Highways and Honkytonks his third studio album, first with Rounder Records, which highlights the duet with Merle Haggard in the song “No One is Gonna Love You Better.”
Your next job, Sweet Talk & amp; Good Lies, released in 2002 again with Rounder, includes a duet with Dwight Yoakam on the theme “Little Chapel.”
In 2009 he published In The Wind, an album co-produced by Taras Prodaniuk, who also played bass, along with musicians such as Larry Mitchell, Jim Christie and Bob Gothar.
