Haruko Momoi (桃 井 は る こ Momoi Haruko) born on December 14, 1977 is a seiyuu, radio actress, columnist, singer and Japanese composer. He was born in Tokyo and his name is also transcribed as “Halko”, nickname created by herself and also used by his followers inspired by the computer HAL 9000 of the movie 2001: A Space Oddysey. His blood group is O and he is 160cm tall. Also popularly titled “Queen of Akihabara”.

Known mainly for her first Under17 group formation with Masaya Koike and some of her popular seiyuu roles, such as Komugi Nakahara in the series The SoulTaker and Nurse Witch Komugi or Mii de Popotan. Momoi stars in Moe or lolicon songs and aesthetic roles, many of them used as a soundtrack in video games, some dedicated to adult audiences (eroge) and animes. Its popularity dominates especially in the district of Akihabara, in Tokyo, where it was already known in the late nineties as an idol and is a reference for many otaku. Even so, it already has an extensive original repertoire and totally independent compositions from the world of fiction, although it introduces constant references to the otaku scope in the content of its material, as well as a strong attraction to the eighties.

Haruko Momoi was born on December 14, 1977 in Tokyo.

Already as a teenager he developed a great interest in anime, video games and female idols, early on he knows the Internet, which deepens his hobbies. In 2009 he establishes the record label AKIHABALOVE RECORDS.
