Glenn Worf’s Biography
Glenn was born in Dayton, Ohio but grew up in Madison, Wisconsin. He started playing bass at 13 years old. He graduated in music from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. Throughout the years, Glenn has collaborated with different musicians: Kenny Rogers, Tammy Wynette, Toby Keith, Billy Ray Cyrus, John Michael Montgomery, Martina McBride, The Mavericks, Aaron Neville, Bob Seger, Marty Robbins, Mark Knopfler, Bryan Adams, Larry Carlton, Lonnie Mack. In addition to his work in the studios, he plays regularly in Nashville, or its surroundings, with Mike Henderson and Kevin Welch.
Since 1996, Glenn records in studio and plays live with Mark Knopfler, while maintaining great freedom to continue playing at home. In the albums with Mark, Glenn plays both the electric bass and the double bass.
