Gerardo Torrado Diez de Bonilla (Mexico City, Mexico, April 30, 1979), is a former Mexican soccer player who was nationalized Spanish in 2004 and played as a midfielder, was international with the national team of soccer of Mexico from 1999 to 2014 and mundialista in Korea-Japan 2002, Germany 2006 and South Africa 2010. He retired on October 29, 2017 of professional soccer.

His first team was the National University Club, where he made his debut in the First Division of Mexico in 1997, later playing in Spanish football for 5 years, first in the Second Division with the CD Tenerife and the Polideportivo Ejido and more Later in the First Division with Sevilla FC and Racing Santander, before returning to his country and playing with Cruz Azul. During his stay at Cruz Azul, he has managed to be a great reference of the team, performing as Captain of the team. He played the finals of the Clausura 2008, Apertura 2008, Apertura 2009 and Clausura 2013 finals, being runner-up in the four tournaments. In 2016 he signs Indy Eleven of NASL where he has a contract until November 2018.

He was part of the Mexican national soccer team from 1999 to 2014, performing several times as captain. He participated in the World Cups of South Korea / Japan 2002, Germany 2006 and South Africa 2010.
