Dominika Paleta (Krakow, Poland, October 23, 1972) is a Mexican actress of Polish origin.

She came to Mexico as a child, since her father Zbigniew Paleta dedicated to music, received an offer of work in Mexico City, so she decided to emigrate to Mexico with her entire family, her mother Barbara Paciorek Kowalowka and her younger sister, the also actress, Ludwika Paleta.

Even though from small appeared in commercials and in that one another play of theater and had papers with little importance in some soap operas, its great opportunity arrived to him when it was 20 years of age.

In 1997, she stars in the telenovela Amada enemiga, after her first leading role in showing her talent and great character, she began to be taken into account for other television projects.

After demonstrating her great histrionic capacity, the producers called her to participate in different telenovelas where she began to play roles of villains, as in La usurpadora 1998 and La Intrusa in 2001, soap operas in which her characters earned her the recognition of criticism.

In 2004 the young woman signed a contract with the Telemundo network and starred in productions such as El alma herida (2004), sharing credits with Rebecca Jones and Itatí Cantoral.

In 2005 he starred in Los Plateados alongside Mauricio Islas and Tamara Monserrat with Humberto Zurita in the antagonistic role.

Other soap operas in which he has participated, are: Locura de Amor and Por un beso, all in special performances.

In 2007, he ventured into the world of driving with the Growing playing program, which was aimed at mothers with young children. Also that year, he recorded an episode of the series Thirteen Fears.

In 2008, she again plays a villain in the telenovela El juramento, a Telemundo production, based on La mentira, written by Caridad Bravo Adams; and where he shares credits with Natalia Streignard, Osvaldo Ríos and Susana Dosamantes, among others.

In that same year he makes his return to Televisa in Tomorrow is Forever, a Nicandro Díaz production, where he shared scenes with actors such as Lucero, Silvia Navarro, Fernando Colunga and Rogelio Guerra; and gave life to Liliana Elizalde .

In theater, he joined the cast of the acclaimed work Los monólogos de la vagina.

Studied History of art at the Universidad Iberoamericana, in Mexico City.

In the year of 2009 Dominika shows a new facet as a bender, recreating the voice in the film Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure, in that Disney production the actress was the narrator of the story, for distribution in Spanish of the movie in all Latin America, for countries such as Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Venezuela among others.

In January 2010 she was invited by the producer Nicandro Díaz with whom she had previously worked, to be the protagonist in the telenovela Soy tu dueña, ‘remake’ of La dueña de 1995, together with Fernando Colunga and Gabriela Spanic but decided not participate because I had other projects on the doorstep, a movie and theater.

In 2010 she works in Mujeres Asesinas, a Mexican version where she will play the role of “María, Fanática”, and Salvador Mejía will confirm her for El triunfo del amor in this telenovela, with William Levy among others.

In 2012, after several years of not working together, Dominika and Ludwika Paleta return to step on the same stage, in the play, La Burriguera.

In 2013, she is called by Ignacio Sada Madero to antagonize the telenovela Por siempre mi amor, where she played the evil Sonia Arenas.

In 2015, she gets a special participation as an antagonist in the telenovela Antes muerta que Lichita, where she plays the evil Sheila, wife of the character of Arath de la Torre.

In 2016 it is confirmed by the producer Roberto Gómez Fernández to be one of the main characters of the new Teleserie The hotel of secrets, remake of the Spanish Gran Hotel, where he will share credits with Diana Bracho, Daniela Romo, Irene Azuela and Erick Elias.
