Diego Antonio Caccia Torres , (Buenos Aires, Argentina, March 9, 1971) artistically known as Diego Torres , is an Argentine singer-songwriter and musician who cultivates Latin pop genre. He is also an occasional actor, remembered on television for his role in Los otros and nosotros, La banda del Golden Rocket and his leading role in Los vecinos at war.

In movies he participated in six films, among which the most prominent were his protagónicos in Fury, Revenge and Strangers in the night, among others.

He has published a total of eight studio albums, two compilation albums and a live album, with high sales in Argentina, America and Europe, and has sold more than 20 million records throughout his career, according to his record label Sony. Music (2015), winner of ten Gardel Awards, three Latin Grammys and three MTV Latin America awards, among others.

Diego Torres is the youngest of the 5 children of the popular and legendary Argentine singer and actress Lolita Torres and Julio César “Lole” Caccia. Thanks to his mother’s profession, since childhood he grew up surrounded by musicians and artists who were influencing his career. Lolita one of the most beloved artists in the world of Argentine spectacle. As a teenager he formed a band called La Marca. Parallel to this musical project in 1989 Torres ventured into TV as an actor. His band disappeared in 1991, and although at that time there were many acting offers, music captured his attention. His mother Lolita Torres died on September 14, 2002, victim of a cardiac arrest. At that time Diego was giving a show in Colombia. On Saturday night he was going to give a show – “The Concert of Concerts”, in Bogotá – and he had to cancel his presentation.
