Dave Kilminster is a British guitarist. He has worked extensively as a session musician, performing for artists such as Roger Waters, Steven Wilson, Keith Emerson, Ken Hensley, Carl Palmer and John Wetton, and has also released solo albums.

In his childhood he sang in a quartet of barbershop and when he was a young man he played piano and wanted to dedicate himself to that, but in 1976 he poured himself into guitars.In his first adulthood he worked temporarily with computers under IBM.

For a few years, Kilminster was a guitar tutor at Guildford Academy of Contemporary Music, transcribing and recording pieces by musicians such as Yngwie Malmsteem, Eddie Van Halen, Steve Vai and Michael Hedges for the Guitarist and Guitar Techniques magazines. .

In 1991 Kilminster won the first Guitarist of the Year competition of Guitarist Magazine, with the song “Sundance”.
