He was born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. His first television role was in 1981. From 1992 to 1995, he played the role of Andy Griffith’s assistant, named Cliff Lewis, in the series Matlock. He has also played the role of Inspector Rick Bettina in Nash Bridges. He has appeared in other roles on television and in films such as River’s Edge, Dudes, and Final Destination. He has also played the role of US Marshal Bob Biggs in the films The Fugitive and U.S. Marshals He has also played the role of Mr. Banks in the movie Agent Cody Banks and in his sequel Agent Cody Banks 2. One of his most memorable roles is that of Jay Leno in the HBO film The Late Shift. In 2005, he appeared in the series Lost as Leslie Arzt. He has written and produced for Mosterama and has appeared in several chapters of it.
