Daniel Mark Nestor is a professional tennis player born on September 4, 1972 in Belgrade, then Yugoslavia and Canadian nationalized. He has excelled in the doubles modality, in which he has obtained, among other triumphs, the gold medal in the Olympic Games of Sydney 2000, and 8 titles of Grand Slam. He ranked first in the world rankings and has remained among the best in the world in the last 15 years. Many of his titles were achieved with the Bahamian Mark Knowles and the Serbian Nenad Zimonjic.

Nestor is the only player in history (counting singles and doubles) to have achieved all the most coveted professional tennis titles: the 4 Grand Slam, the ATP World Tour Finals, the gold medal in the Olympic Games and the 9 different Masters 1000 tournaments.

Nestor emigrated to Canada in 1976, and has represented her in the Davis Cup since 1992.
