Corey Scott Feldman (Chatsworth, California, July 16, 1971) is an American film and television actor. He became known during the 1980s with roles in films such as The Goonies, The Lost Boys and Count Me.

Corey Feldman’s Biography

First years

Corey Feldman is the second of five brothers. He was born in Chatsworth, California, the son of Sheila Goldstein, his representative during his childhood, and Bob Feldman, a failed musician who finally created his own talent agency aimed at modeling the artistic careers of other children besides his children. educated in Judaism, and has two brothers, Eden and Devin, and two sisters, Mindy and Brittnie. Mindy Feldman began her artistic career at age six, being the youngest of the new Mickey Mouse Club in the 1970s.

Start of his career

Corey Feldman began his career with three years, appearing in a McDonald’s restaurant ad. During his youth he appeared in more than 100 television commercials and 50 television programs, from Mork and Mindy to Eight is Enough or One day at time. He also appeared in the series Cheers. He began working in movies in the films Time Afert Time (1979) and The Fox and the Hound (1979) for Disney. Around age 15 he went on to have acting roles in films such as Gremlins (1983), Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter (1984), The Goonies (1985) and Stand by Me (1986) with River Phoenix, Wil Wheaton and Jerry O ‘Connell. In 1987 he appeared with Corey Haim in The Lost Boys. This last film marked the start of the couple Feldman and Haim, who would become the two Coreys. The two boys began to act together in films like License to Drive (1988), The Burbs (1989) and Dream a Little Dream (1989). Tired of the Coreymanía, Feldman and Haim decided to separate professionally and to concentrate in their personal careers, although they continued maintaining a close friendship until they had a discussion in the year 2008 in the live program The Two Coreys. Feldman said he did not want to know anything about Haim until his friend was cured of his drug addiction. Finally, in March 2010, Corey Haim died in Los Angeles due to an apparent accidental overdose, which was distorted and it was determined that the causes of his death was pneumonia.

The 1990s

Corey Feldman began the decade of 1990 interpreting the voice of Donatello in the first film of the Ninja Turtles (1990). After publicly recognizing his drug problem, Corey struggled to overcome his addiction and regain his life and career working with teenagers, starring in low-budget films and releasing a music album. He returned to the big screen with Ninja Turtles III (1992), where he again played the voice of Donatello, and appeared with Corey Haim in Blown Away (1992), as well as in Stories of the Crypt: Bordello de Sangre.

At the end of the 1990s Feldman appeared on Dweebs, a CBS series and released his second album Still Searching for Soul with his band Corey Feldman’s Truth Movement. In 1999 appeared in music video New Found Glory of Hit or Miss as Officer Corey Feldman. That same year he appeared in the television series El Cuervo: Escalera hacia el Cielo.

The 2000s

In the year 2001 the band Truth Movement made its first tour of America playing in 33 locations.

In 2002 Corey Feldman released his first solo album Former Child Actor and promoted it with a second tour of the United States. This same year he appeared on the reality TV show for celebrities The Surreal Life on the VH1 channel. In the program he married publicly with Susie Sprague.

In 2003 he made a cameo appearance in the movie Dickie Roberts: Reformed Child Star. He also appeared in the Moby group’s We Are All Made Of Stars music video.

In 2005 he performed in a Broadway theater the play Fatal Attraction, a Greek Tragedy, a parody of the film Fatal Attraction (1987). Feldman played the leading role. Later he would also appear in other plays such as My Date with Drew and currently plays the voice of Sparx-77 in the cartoon series Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!.

In 2007, Corey Feldman and Corey Haim began a television program entitled The Two Coreys on the A &network. Feldman and Haim began recording on December 4, 2006 and the program began airing on July 29. of 2007.

In the winter of 2007, Corey Feldman’s new film Terror Inside was released. It was filmed in Orlando, Florida by Minott Lenders, an independent film company. His wife Susie also appears in this horror movie.

In January 2008, Feldman, his wife and Corey Haim began producing the second season of the television program The Two Coreys. Feldman was also the executive producer in both seasons. During the summer the Feldman couple launched a calendar with provocative photos in the style of John Lennon and Yoko Ono.

On July 29, 2008 Warner Premiere premiered Hidden Youth II: Vampires in Surf, a sequel to The Lost Boys directly on DVD and Blu-ray. In the film, Corey Feldman resumed his role as vampire hunter Edgar Frog. The results were better than the study expected.

In 2008 Corey Feldman also starred in Lucky Fritz and The Adventures of Belvis Bash – a war comedy.

In November of 2008 he released a new musical album with his band Truth Movement entitled Technology Analogy.
