Christian Santos (Ciudad Guayana, Bolívar state, Venezuela, March 24, 1988), is a Venezuelan footballer. He works as a striker and is currently a player of Deportivo Alavés of the First Division of Spain.
He made his first appearance with the Venezuelan team on March 27, 2015 in a friendly match against Jamaica played at the Montego Bay Sports Complex in the city of Montego Bay.
He started playing football at the Galician Brotherhood of Puerto Ordaz. His mother, a Guyanese of Polish-German descent from Ciudad Piar and his Spanish father from Galicia.
When he was six years old, the Santos family arrived in Germany for work reasons from his father, moving to live in a small town of no more than 70,000 inhabitants called Lippstadt, near (60 km) to the metropolis of Dortmund. Christian continued his love for football in Germany, where he took his first steps in an organized way in the children’s divisions of SV Lippstadt 08.
In 2003, when he was 15 years old, Santos attended Arminia Bielefeld youth “I learned the true fundamentals of the game to be a professional player, it was my great university”.
