Maria del Carmen Machi Arroyo (Madrid, January 7, 1963), known as Carmen Machi , is a Spanish actress. It is celebrated, mainly, for having played the successful comic character of Aída García in the television series 7 vidas and her homonymous, Aída.
Born in Madrid, Carmen Machi grew up in the nearby town of Getafe and studied at the Jesús Nazareno school in that town, although her parents are Spanish, Carmen has Italian parental roots, since in her father’s family all they were artists from Genoa (Italy). [note 1]
