Caleb Followill Short Bio

Kings of Leon is an American rock music group founded in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1999. It consists of three brothers, Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill and his cousin Matthew Followill. Each member of the family is known by his middle name instead of the first. The name of the group is derived from Nathan’s father and grandfather, Caleb and Jared, the two named Leon. The band’s early music was an animated mix of southern rock and garage rock influences, but the band has gradually expanded over the years to include a variety of more alternative genres and also the arena rock sound. Although the first three albums of the group had a remarkable success in the United Kingdom, sales in the United States were less significant.
