Brian Ralph Jackson (born in Los Angeles, California, on February 1, 1959) is a retired professional basketball player who developed his entire professional career in clubs in Italy and Spain. In the ACB league he achieved a total of 8660 points (22 per match), which makes him the 3rd highest scorer in the history of the competition and one of his historical players.

Brian_Jackson’s Biography

He trained as a player in the ranks of the University of Utah where he played the 1980/81 season. He was selected in third place in the second round of the 1981 NBA Draft (26th overall) by the Portland Trail Blazers.

In the summer of 1981 he decided to make the jump to Europe and signed for the Cotonificio de Badalona of the Spanish First Division. After a season in the Catalan club he goes to the Italian LEGA where in the ranks of the Venice Race the season ends as the competition’s leading scorer.

In the 1983/84 season he returned to Spain signing a contract for the Real Madrid joint with which he disputed the first two editions of the ACB league. With the white club was proclaimed twice consecutive league champion, in addition to achieving a Copa del Rey and a Cup Winners Cup.

After his successful stage as a Madridista, he returns to sign for a team of Serie A2 in Italy, in this case the Segafredo Gorizia where he plays during the 1985/86 season.
