Allen Ezail Iverson (born Hampton, Virginia, June 7, 1975) is a former professional basketball player who played 14 seasons in the NBA, and one more in the Turkish league. He was selected in the first position of the Draft of the NBA of 1996 by Philadelphia 76ers, equipment in which he played until 2006, when it was transferred to Denver Nuggets. During his time in the 76ers, Iverson won the MVP of the Season and the All-Star Game in 2001, also leading his team to the NBA Finals where he lost to the Los Angeles Lakers of Phil Jackson. In his first season in the league, he won the Rookie of the Year award and was part of the best rookie team of the season. It occupies the sixth position in the category of points by party in the history of the NBA, with 26,7 points by meeting, only surpassed by Michael Jordan, Wilt Chamberlain, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Elgin Baylor and Jerry West.
