Alfonso Bedoya was born in Vicam, Sonora on April 16, 1904, spent his childhood living between his hometown, Mexico City and later in Texas during his adolescence, returns to Mexico City, where after playing various jobs to make a living, debuted in film with the film Todo un hombre (1935), then intervened in rebellious Souls (1937) debut by Alejandro Galindo and Víctor Manuel Mendoza as director and actor respectively, La madrina del diablo (1937) with Jorge Negrete, The bandits of Río Frío (1938), Los de abajo (1940) with Esther Fernández, El gendarme desconocido (1941) with Cantinflas and Gloria Marín, Flor silvestre (1943) by Emilio Fernández, with Dolores del Río and Pedro Armendáriz in the leading roles, Doña Bárbara (1943), Maria Félix’s consecrating film,have to eat that tuna (1945), Canaima (1945), Gran Casino (1947), the three with Jorge Negrete, If they have to kill me tomorrow (1947) with Pedro Infante and La pe Rla (1947).
