Alejandro González Iñárritu (Mexico City, August 15, 1963) is a Mexican filmmaker, screenwriter, producer, broadcaster and composer, winner of four Oscars. He is considered one of the best filmmakers today.
Iñarritu has a friendship with the Mexican directors Guillermo del Toro and Alfonso Cuarón, together they are known as “The Three Friends of the Cinema”, who have received the recognition of the critics thanks to their respective works.

First years

Alejandro González Iñárritu was born on August 16, 1963 in Mexico City, son of Luz María Iñárritu and Héctor González Gama, crossing the Atlantic and working on a freighter, first at 17 and then at 19 years old. Z Films

In the 1990s, he created Z Films with Raúl Olvera in Mexico in order to start writing, producing and directing films, shorts, audiovisuals, advertisements and television programs. With Z Films, González Iñárritu began writing, producing and directing short films and advertisements.
