Frankenstein. The director, who barely worked before the cameras, regularly filmed with interpreters such as Regina Carrol (his wife), John Carradine, Russ Tamblyn or Lon Chaney Jr. \n The transformation of the film market in the 1980s (closure of neighborhood theaters, arrival of video, etc.) marked the end of his career in the industry, and Al Adamson, after his last film in 1983, dedicated himself to the real estate business. However, the rediscovery of his work in the 1990s by film fans made him think of his return. \n Finally, no new movie saw the light. His brother reported the disappearance of Al Adamson in June 1995. Five weeks later his body was found by law enforcement under the concrete and tile floor of his newly remodeled bathroom in Indio, California, and his contractor was arrested. Fred Fulford at the Coral Reef Hotel in St. Petersburg, Florida, who had committed accounting irregularities that Adamson had discovered.
