Adam Charles Goldberg (Santa Monica, October 25, 1970) is an American actor, director, producer and musician. As an actor on several occasions he has played the “prototypical role of a young New York Jew”, especially in films and television programs of the 1990s and 2000s, among which his performance in the parody The Hebrew Hammer stands out.

Childhood and youth

Goldberg was born in Santa Monica, California, but during his childhood he lived near Miami Beach. Her parents are Earl Goldberg and Donna Goebel (maiden name), her father is Jewish and her mother is Catholic of Irish, French and German descent, educated under the Jewish religion and attended a Hebrew school, despite that he refused to have his Bar Mitzvah performed, because he declared that it would be a disrespectful and disrespectful gesture on his part. In 2005 he had an extensive appearance in the Flaming Lips documentary titled The Fearless Freaks, and in 2008 he had a supporting role in the science fiction film Christmas on Mars, which is a film directed and written by the leader of the band Flaming Lips, Wayn Coyne. In 1999, he appeared in the music video for “There She Goes” by the band Sixpence None The Richer.

Goldberg wrote, produced, directed and edited the films Scotch and Milk andLove Your Work, as well as several television projects, including the remarkable film with travel recommendations, Running with the Bulls for the IFC television channel. He is also a guitarist and songwriter, and among his works are the music of the filmsLove Your Work, Running with Bulls, and a song from the soundtrack of the film Hebrew Hammer. He has published rock and jazz albums, including the album praised by critics Changes, with the collaboration of Latin jazz percussionist Phil Maturano. Adam Goldberg has proven to be a serious and dedicated artist and musician.

He also worked on the police series The Unusuals, where he plays a New York detective with brain cancer, who refuses to treat himself because of his rejection by doctors. His character was described as “sarcastic” and Goldberg was described as “one of the best reasons to watch the series”.

Goldberg had a romantic relationship with actress Christina Ricci, until the beginning of 2006. Ricci told W magazine in mid-2006 that they had resumed their love affair and said “…love her andfeel as if we were made the one for the other. “However, a couple of months later the couple separated.
